PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program of study is related to the beautifying of the hair, through styling, coloring,
cutting, permanent waving, etc. Also the beautifying of the skin, hands and feet.

OBJECTIVE
To prepare students to pass the State Board exam and enter into the field of Beauty Culture.

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM: 1,230 Clock Hours.

COMPLETION TIME
9.5 months for full time students and 14.5 months for part time students.

PREREQUISITE: High School diploma or GED is required, Students who do not have a High School
Diploma or GED need to take and pass satisfactorily the Ability to Benefit Test.
