PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program of study is related to the beautifying of the skin through facial massage, the use of creams and high frequency current and through corrective treatments.
The program of study is also related to the beautifying of hands and feet through manicure and pedicure treatment and the performing of artificial nails.

OBJECTIVE
To prepare students to work as a professional facial specialist, manicurist, and pedicurist, and to train them in the
art and science of artificial nails, so that they may acquire the necessary skills to perform this beauty service.

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM: 900 Clock Hours

COMPLETION TIME: Completion time takes 7.5 months for a full time student and 10.5 months for a part time student.

PREREQUISITE: High School diploma or GED is required, Students who do not have a High School
Diploma or GED need to take and pass satisfactorily the Ability to Benefit Test. Refer to Admission Requirements.
