PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program of study is related to the beautifying of the skin through facial massage, the use of creams and high frequency current and through corrective treatments. It also relates to the art of cosmetics application.

OBJECTIVE
To prepare students to work as a professional Facial Specialist and to enter into the field of skin care.

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM: 300 Clock Hours

COMPLETION TIME: Completion time takes 3.5 months.
Curriculum is based on as many hours of theory and practical instruction as each subject requires, so that the student obtains the necessary knowledge and skill. It also includes the designated hours for clinical experience and minimum services, so that the student acquires the necessary experience to perform a professional service.

PREREQUISITE: High School diploma or GED is required, Students who do not have a High School Diploma or GED need to take and pass satisfactorily the Ability to Benefit Test. Refer to Admission Requirements.
