PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program of study is related to the beautifying of hands and feet through shaping nails, conditioning the cuticle, the application of nail polish, the application of hands and feet massage, etc. It also includes the repairing of damaged or broken nails, through wrapping or mending and the application of the different kinds of Sculptured Nails with or without tips.

OBJECTIVE
To prepare the students to work in a beauty salon as a professional Nail Technician and to obtain the Florida license.

LENGTH OF THE PROGRAM: 240 Clock Hours.

COMPLETION TIME: Completion time normally takes 12 weeks for a part time student.

PREREQUISITE: High School diploma or GED is required, Students who do not have a High School Diploma or GED need to take and pass satisfactorily the Ability to Benefit Test. Refer to Admission Requirements.
