Requirements  
 

1. To be at least 16 years of age
2. To be a High School graduate (affidavit allowed for foreign country students) or
3. To have a GED Diploma or
4. To pass an ATB (ability to benefit) test approved by the U.S. Department of Education
and by NACCAS.
5. To have a Diploma or Certificate of Graduation from a Nationally Accredited Beauty School
to enroll in the Instructor Training Program.

NOTE: The ATB test used by this institution is either the “Wonderlic”, Form VS-1 with a minimum score of 200 and Form QS-1 with a minimum score of 210 for English speaking students or the Wonderlic form IV or V for Spanish speaking students. The ATB tests are administered, proctored and scored by an independent third party with no current or prior fiscal interest in this institution, other than an arm’s length arrangement to administer proctor and score the ATB test.
This test will be administered on the first or second day of the "Orientation" session prior to the start date. Students who fail the ATB test for the first time, will have the chance to be retested with a different form of the WBST test, Verbal and Quantitative, the next day. Students who fail the ATB test for the second time will have to wait a 60 calendar day period to be retested for the last time.
A copy of the enrollment agreement is provided to the student upon enrollment.
